This SunFire V40z Base comes with 2 x 2.6GHz 852 E4 CPUs but can be upgraded to have 4 CPUs. The system has 4 DIMM slots per processor. Dual onboard Gigabit Etherneet ports, one dedicated 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet port with integrated two-port switch for daisy chaining ports. Keyboard input is PS2 style mini-din 8 connector. PCI-X slots: 4 full-length (133MHz) 64-bit, 1 full-length (100MHz) 64-bit, 1 half-length (100MHz) 64-bit, 1 half-length (66MHz) 64-bit. SCSI: Single Channel Ultra320 SCSI interface, internal access only. No external SCSI port. Serial: Single TIA/EIA-232-F asynchronous RJ45 port. USB: Two USB 1.1ports, one in front, one in the back.
